The Commodore CBM 3032 (1979) is a member of the PET family, with a MOS 6502 CPU at 1 MHz, 32 KB of RAM and Commodore BASIC 4.0. Built-in 40×25 monochrome screen and the characteristic IEEE-488 port. A classic piece of late-1970s computing.

12/06/2026 — Entrada al taller. Presenta problemas con los fusibles y la placa muestra fallos de vídeo. En pausa a la espera de un portafusibles nuevo para poder encenderlo con seguridad y diagnosticar el problema de imagen.
2026-06-12 — Arrived at the workshop. It has problems with the fuses and the board shows video faults. On hold, waiting for a new fuse holder so it can be powered on safely and the image problem diagnosed.
27/06/2026 — Ha llegado el portafusibles y por fin hemos podido arrancar la máquina. Enciende, pero apunta a dos posibles fallos: uno en el monitor (aparece una línea horizontal en pantalla) y otro en la placa. Para descartar el monitor hemos pedido una placa de expansión que se conecta al bus trasero y saca la imagen por vídeo compuesto; en cuanto la montemos podremos comparar y averiguar si el fallo está en el monitor o en la placa interna. De momento se queda esperando esa pieza.
2026-06-27 — The fuse holder has arrived and we've finally been able to power the machine up. It turns on, but it points to two possible faults: one in the monitor (a horizontal line appears on screen) and one in the board. To rule out the monitor, we've ordered an expansion board that plugs into the rear bus and outputs the image over composite video; once we fit it we'll be able to compare and find out whether the fault is in the monitor or in the internal board. For now it stays waiting for that part.
